 Traveling to Long Beach

Jet Blue flies from Oakland to Long Beach and back 6 times per day. As of June 12, one-way web fares were as low as $29.00. Long Beach Airport is the most accessible, centrally located alternative for air travel in and out of the Los Angeles, South Bay and North Orange County areas. It is less than 10 minutes driving time from the Queen Mary.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is one of the largest aquariums in the United States. Its 550 species fill 17 major habitats, 31 focus exhibits and takes visitors on a journey throughout the Pacific Ocean's three regions: Southern California/Baja; the Tropical Pacific and the Northern Pacific. Catalina Express was formed in 1981 with one 60-passenger vessel providing scheduled service between L.A. and Catalina Island. Today, the company has evolved into a leading provider of passenger boat transport service in the West and a major promoter of tourism to the island paradise, which is situated 22 miles off the Southern California coast.
